Sports Trivia is a free online football (soccer) quiz game built for the FIFA World Cup 2026, operated independently and available at sportstrivia.app. For any privacy question you can reach us at geoptimize4@gmail.com. This policy applies to all pages and features of the site.

We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the game:

• Account information. If you create an account we store a username, a password (hashed, never in plain text) and an optional display name and email address. You can also play as a guest, in which case no email or password is required.
• Gameplay data. Scores, streaks, experience points (XP), levels, daily-quest results and leaderboard entries tied to your profile so we can save your progress and rank players.
• Technical data. Standard information your browser sends, such as device type, browser, approximate location derived from your IP address, and pages viewed. This is processed by our hosting and analytics providers to keep the service secure and fast.
• Cookies and local storage. Small files used to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and, where applicable, serve advertising. See the sections below.

We use the information above to provide and maintain the game, save your progress, build leaderboards, keep accounts secure, prevent abuse, understand which features are used so we can improve them, and — where ads are shown — fund the free service. We do not sell your personal information.

Like most websites, we use cookies and browser local storage. Essential cookies keep you signed in and remember settings such as your theme; without them core features will not work. Analytics and advertising partners may set additional cookies as described below. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though some features may stop working as a result.

To keep Sports Trivia free we may display advertising, including ads served by Google AdSense. The following disclosures apply:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

We use privacy-conscious analytics (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights) to measure aggregate traffic and page performance. These tools help us understand how the game is used and where it can be faster; they are not used to build advertising profiles.

We rely on trusted providers to operate the site: Supabase (account authentication and database storage) and Vercel (hosting and content delivery). These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments and only as needed to deliver the service.

If you choose to enable browser notifications, we store the push subscription your browser provides so we can send reminders such as your Daily Quest. You can revoke this at any time in your browser or device settings, and we will stop sending notifications.

Sports Trivia is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

You can view and update your profile at any time, and you can delete your account, which removes your personal data from our active systems. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal information; to exercise them, email us at geoptimize4@gmail.com.

We keep account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account we remove the associated personal data, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal obligations or prevent abuse.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site. Continued use of Sports Triviaafter an update means you accept the revised policy.
